Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Herder to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing livestock, ensuring their health and safety, and maintaining farm operations. This role requires a strong understanding of animal behavior.
Duties
- Oversee the daily care and management of livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health.
- Feeding and moving livestock.
- Conduct regular inspections of animals to identify any signs of illness or distress.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of farm equipment as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks associated with feeding and caring for livestock.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient farm operations.
- You will be expected to work some weekends.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the workday.
- Strong understanding of animal husbandry practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Previous experience not required.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
