We’re looking for a
Site Director (Plant Manager) to lead our spice processing plant in
Denver City, TX. In this role, you’ll oversee all day-to-day operations across production, quality control, administration, HR, and maintenance, focusing on operational efficiency and profitability. You’ll manage three departments with a team of 36 employees and work closely with the local growers and farm manager to coordinate product logistics. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in both the success of the plant and the growth of its people.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and maintenance operations, including staffing, materials, and equipment scheduling.
- Lead the long-term growth of Kalsec Southwest by supporting expansion of chili, paprika, and spice processing in Texas.
- Promote a safe, clean, and compliant workplace by ensuring adherence to food safety, conduct, and sanitation standards.
- Mentor employees and introduce best practices and train staff on systems and tools that improve operations.
- Build strong teamwork and communication across Production, Maintenance, Lab, and Administrative groups.
- Run weekly staff meetings that bring together Production, Maintenance, QC, HR, and Accounting.
- Manage automated systems that track payroll, payables, receivables, costing, variances, and inventories.
- Provide financial insights and reports, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow updates.
- Help prepare annual budgets and track capital project spending with the management team.
- Participate in monthly leadership meetings and share updates with senior staff.
- Support the rollout of company policies and initiatives within Kalsec Southwest.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
Education/Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management with 5 years managerial experience or equivalent.
- High learning index and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent people skills and ability to motivate a diverse workforce.

- Master’s degree in business, Finance or Supply Chain Management
- Experience working in an agricultural/food processing operation.
