Blue Ridge Aquaculture, a local company and industry leader specializing in indoor Tilapia farming, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Tank room Operator. The Tank room Operator will be responsible for regulating water quality at the indoor fish farm by washing filters, feeding fish, adding bicarb to regulate pH two times per shift, harvesting fish, cleaning tanks and work area, removing any mortalities from the tanks, and recording all data properly into iPad. Good math skills and basic computer knowledge preferred. This is a full-time position with benefits. Hours are 8pm - 8 am, 3-4 days a week. Other hours may be assigned based on the needs of the organization. Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, long term disability, and 401K.
