Our Veterinary Client Service Representatives (CSR) are the face and voice of our hospital — greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling medical records, and supporting our veterinary technicians and veterinarians.
If you have experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Front Desk Coordinator in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical office — we want to hear from you!
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to pet owners in person and over the phone
- Answer multi-line phone system and triage client inquiries
- Schedule veterinary appointments and update patient records in practice management software (Avimark, Cornerstone, or similar)
- Check in and check out patients, collect payments, process insurance claims
- Maintain accurate client and patient information, medical records, and files
- Communicate clearly with veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, and veterinarians to ensure high-quality patient care
- Handle difficult or emotional situations calmly and professionally
- Assist with clerical tasks, faxing, scanning, email, and inventory as needed
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 1–2 years experience in a veterinary front desk, medical office receptionist, or high-volume customer service role
- Experience using veterinary practice management software (Avimark, Cornerstone, eVet, or similar) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Leadership experience or interest in a lead CSR role is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on skills and veterinary experience
