We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Hebron, IN. The Veterinary Assistant will assist the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care and treatment to animals. Responsibilities include restraining animals during examinations, administering medications, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and providing support to pet owners.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal care and treatment
- Restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Clean and sterilize equipment and exam rooms
- Provide support and education to pet owners
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for animal care and welfare
