Production Waste Treatment Operator
*Eligible for weekend compensation differential
*Eligible for night shift compensation differential
Friday-Monday:
Friday & Monday 10:00pm-6:00am
Saturday & Sunday 10:00pm-10:00am
The Waste Treatment Operator is responsible for overseeing the waste treatment equipment and weekend bird care duties.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the waste treatment equipment
- Read meters and gauges to ensure equipment is operating normally
- Troubleshoot backups and problems that occur
- Submits tickets to maintenance as needed
- Contacts on-call maintenance technician as required for issues beyond troubleshooting capabilities
- Detailed, accurate, concurrent, complete record keeping
- Follows all safety procedures
- Follows standard operation procedures and company policies
- Assist with general cleaning duties associated with the daily operations.
- Feed and water all birds and record observations as set out
- Control room temperature and humidity
- Replace or clean vent filters
- Clean and sanitize production and animal facilities
- Record daily temperature of all refrigerated units; report problems

Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Mechanically inclined
- You are an independent worker.
- Knowledge of documentation and record keeping.
- Able to operate technical machinery and computerized equipment (eg. Production equipment or waste treatment equipment).
- You have a basic understanding of chemicals and PH levels or the capacity to learn about chemicals and PH levels
