The Turkey Farm Manager position is primarily responsible for daily turkey grower and brooder barn chores and reporting to the Director of Turkey Operations. We are looking for highly motivated people who desire to work on a turkey farm that values excellent character and work ethic.\r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMeet expectations on the Level 2 Skill Assessment\r\n\tComplete checklist with daily, weekly, monthly tasks\r\n\tCommunicate effectively with Director of Turkey Operations\r\n\tExecute objectives from Director of Turkey Operations\r\n\tCommunicate with Maintenance Manager with needed repairs and materials.\r\n\tFollow bio-security policy and animal welfare practices.\r\n\tFollow safety procedures\r\n\tChampion overall bird health and livability\r\n\tCooperate with other growers\r\n\tPick up mortality and keep accurate records\r\n\tEnsure birds have feed and water at all times, order feed as needed\r\n\tRespond and troubleshoot alarm calls\r\n\tMaintain barn conditions bedding, tilling, etc.\r\n\tAdjust barn climate temperature, curtains, fans, ventilation, etc.\r\n\tMaintain a clean environment barns, service rooms, feed tanks, yard, barn equipment, etc.\r\n\tSupervise load out\r\n\tAssist with moving birds and poult deliveries at all brooder barns\r\n\tPrepare barns for new flocks cleanout, sweeping, disinfecting, repair, etc.\r\n\r\n\r\nALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
