We are seeking a skilled and experienced Blueberry Grower to join our team. The Grower will lead and execute the technical and cultural aspects of blueberry production, ensuring healthy plants, strong yields, and premium fruit quality. Key Responsibilities 
   
 
 
 - Crop & Cultural Management: Plan, schedule, and direct all cultural activities including pruning, pollination, harvesting, irrigation, and fertigation. 
   
- Pest & Disease Control: Regularly scout blueberry fields for pests and diseases and implement integrated pest management (IPM) practices. 
   
- Nutrient & Soil Programs: Collect and analyze plant tissue and soil samples to optimize fertilizer programs for plant health and fruit flavor. 
   
- Irrigation & Fertigation: Oversee all irrigation and fertigation systems to ensure consistent moisture levels and nutrient delivery. 
   
- Chemigation Treatments: Safely conduct and monitor all chemigation applications in compliance with state regulations. 
   
- Variety Trials & Innovation: Lead new blueberry variety trials and research projects to enhance quality, sustainability, and profitability. 
   
- Regulatory Compliance: Manage compliance with Florida agricultural standards, including WPS protocols, food safety programs, and SWFMD (water use) regulations. 
   
- Vendor & Team Management: Work closely with plant vendors, agricultural suppliers, and bee pollination vendors. Provide direction to nursery and field teams. 
   
- Data & Reporting: Maintain detailed digital and written crop records, calibration logs, and yield reports to support decision-making. 
   
Qualifications 
   
 
 
 
 - Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial blueberry production or specialty crop farming, ideally in Central Florida. 
   
- Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related agricultural field. 
   
- Expertise in blueberry cultural practices, including irrigation, fertigation, pruning, and pest management. 
   
- Experience programming and calibrating sprayers, pumps, and irrigation systems. 
   
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. 
   
- Proficiency with software for data analysis and record-keeping (Excel, Google Drive, Bermad, GPS tools). 
   
- Florida Pesticide Applicator’s License and Train-the-Trainer Certification required. 
   
- Valid driver’s license required. 
   
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
