Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Provide top-notch patient care
- Focus on stress-free handling techniques
- Technical skills, including but not limited to: IV catheter placement, injections, fluid therapy, intubation, dental scale and polish, taking radiographs including dental radiographs, in-hospital treatments
- Technician medical appointments: including client education and minor procedures
- Support DVM: including filling prescriptions, restraint of patients, anaesthetic monitoring
- Assist reception when necessary
- Manage incoming calls
- Answer voicemails, emails and text messages
- Invoicing and billing
- Screening/triaging for service needs
- Follow up with clients: phone calls and emails to update DVM on progress
- Document and maintain all confidential client information, service data and patient information
- Ensure all supplies are stocked the pharmacy, treatment area, surgery and dental suite as well as exam rooms
- General cleaning and maintenance duties
Experience and skills:
- Registered Veterinary Technician
