Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine, with a focus on providing exceptional care to animals. This role requires a commitment to animal health and welfare, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals. The Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues while educating pet owners on proper care.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as required.
Perform surgical procedures and provide critical care for animals in need.
Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with staff and clients.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Provide guidance on animal husbandry, nutrition, and general pet care to pet owners.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during examinations and procedures.
Strong background in veterinary experience with knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy.
Ability to handle various species, including dogs, with confidence and care.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques for surgical procedures.
Experience in laboratory settings for diagnostic testing is beneficial.
Knowledge of pet grooming practices to assist clients in maintaining their pets’ hygiene.
Understanding of animal catheterization procedures for effective treatment delivery.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
