Job Description:
- This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in the coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly.
- This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Lead / guide team members in monitoring & required adjustments of production equipment to meet or exceed the Tyson standards.
- Respond to production calls for maintenance, accessing needs, responses to resolve issues to minimize down time.
- Assist Supervision in monitoring your assigned technician's workmanship, performance, quality of repair methods, while coaching, guiding & training in best practices.
- Guide & lead your team initiating inspections.
- Record all your teams' significant maintenance activity in the maintenance daily log communicating follow up requirements with supervisor.
- Work with supervision in creating an atmosphere of teamwork, cooperation and balancing of workload among team members.
- Set / maintain high standards of performance for yourself & team in productivity, quality workmanship, initiative & integrity.
- Lead safety meetings and assure team works safely within all Tyson policies for safety, hygiene, OSHA, EPA & ethics.
Requirements:
Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
- Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you've worked at Tyson no more than three times.
- Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
