Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Small Animal Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a well-established and thriving multi-doctor practice. This role offers an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated veterinarian ready to guide a skilled team, enhance clinical standards, and support ongoing mentorship and professional development within a progressive hospital setting.

The position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, allowing you to shape hospital policies, maintain the highest level of medical care, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team committed to compassionate patient care, using advanced technology and a full suite of diagnostic and surgical capabilities.

The Clinic is a 40 min drive from Gainesville

Qualifications Needed:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with active Florida licensure
Minimum of 4–5 years of small animal clinical experience
Comfortable performing soft tissue surgeries and overseeing complex cases
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities
Commitment to clinical excellence and fostering team success
