Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd year college student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field and contribute to ongoing projects by verifying and updating mechanical piping diagrams.
Mechanical Engineering Intern

Internship Summary:
The intent of the internship is to have the candidate hands-on experience while providing key drawing deliverables of our mechanical piping systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd year mechanical engineering student to gain knowledge of large industrial mechanical systems while being mentored from experienced professionals.
Internship Job Duties:
- Field Verification: Assist in field verification of mechanical piping diagrams to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Updating Master Drawings: Work on updating and maintaining master drawings based on field findings and project requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to gather data and feedback for improvements.
- Documentation: Assist in the documentation of field reports and maintain accurate records of revisions and updates.
- CAD Support: Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify drawings as needed.
Internship Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering or a related field (2nd or 3rd year students preferred).
- Proficient in AutoCAD software is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour
