Role Summary

The role is responsible for assisting with the coordination of the companies breeding program as well as undertaking a key role in the coordination of routine work activities and providing an effective role in our Nucleus farm at Module 5.

Core Responsibilities

Coordinate daily activities and movement of animals in the breeding program

Perform genetic specialised tasks under minimal supervision

Ensure accurate data collection of essential key traits

Undertake daily welfare checks of all pigs

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Certificate III Agriculture (Pig Production) or equivalent

Sound knowledge of pig husbandry production systems

High level communication skills, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail.

Intermediate computer skills.

Excellent organisation skills.

Preparedness to work flexible hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
