Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated Small Animal Vet Surgeon to provide maternity cover within their progressive and supportive Cardiff-based practice. You’ll work across the hospital and branch practices on a shared rota, with a balanced mix of consulting, operating, and inpatient care. The practice benefits from excellent modern facilities, a dedicated nursing team, and a collaborative environment that promotes wellbeing and growth. Overnight calls are covered by an external out-of-hours provider, allowing for a strong work–life balance while maintaining continuity of patient care through in-house nursing support.
Package:
- Salary up to £52,000 per year, dependent on experience
- Four-day working week (36 hours) with 1 in 5 Saturdays
- No out-of-hours or bank holiday work
