Our focus spans multiple industries including food & beverage, corrugated, logistics and, importantly, fresh produce - making us a trusted partner for growers, packers and distributors who require reliable automation, precision packaging and efficient end-of-line solutions. We are seeking a new Business Development & Sales Representative in the Southeastern US.
The successful candidate will drive new business development and sales growth for the Reisopack line within the southern U.S. territory, with emphasis on the produce industry and other end-use markets without internal competition. You will act as the face and voice of EAM-Mosca in the territory, advancing packaging automation and end-of-line solutions that support the fresh produce supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed specific business development and growth goals in the assigned territory.
- Maintain and build business growth with current account base and new accounts in the produce industry, as well as other agriculture-adjacent markets with no competition to Mosca business.
- Understand and effectively communicate Reisopack’s value proposition to prospects and all key decision makers.
- Manage geographic territory effectively. Submit all required reports timely and accurately. 100% commitment to utilization of company CRM (Salesforce).
- Partner closely with North American Vertical Market Sales Leadership, Regional Sales Managers, Project Management, Marketing, and Inside Sales on all new business activities and onboarding of new customer relationships.
- Understand and apply the Reisopack product portfolio to new opportunities with a strong focus on fresh produce packaging automation.
- Understand and utilize pricing model to maximize profitability within the territory.
- Work effectively with Technical Service teams to deliver maximum customer satisfaction and ensure repeat sales opportunities.
- Serve as the high-visibility representative of EAM-Mosca/Reisopack - attending key produce industry events, building strong relationships, and developing networks that deliver required growth.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Engineering, Business, Packaging Technology or related discipline. Post-graduate education is a plus.
- 3-5 years of direct sales experience representing a manufacturer/marketer of industrial automation equipment (ideally packaging machinery) in the produce, fresh-food sector or other closely related agriculture market. Experience with end-of-line packaging automation is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage a complex geographic territory and drive new account acquisition / diversification of end-use markets.
- Demonstrated success selling on a TCO basis and opening new accounts with system solutions (machinery + consumables + service).
- Recent formal sales and/or time-management training desirable.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong new business (“hunter”) skills combined with excellent account management capability.
- Bilingual - English & Spanish required (to serve produce industry in U.S. South / Latin markets).
- Consultative / challenger selling style - able to challenge industry norms and present value in complex manufacturing / packaging environments.
- Comfortable with system selling: machinery + consumables + technical service + parts.
- Ability to manage medium‐to‐long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder processes, and large value deals.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel ~70% (geographic territory) with ~30% overnight travel.
