Industrial Engineer - Protein Processing

Every shift in a protein plant runs on process. Every process has a weak point. This role finds it, fixes it, and sets the standard for how production moves forward.
What you'll do
- Lead efficiency projects and analyze production workflows
- Conduct root cause analyses and design process changes to improve output
- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive cost reduction projects, capacity solutions, and layout changes
- Work with operations and maintenance teams to cut downtime and improve yields
- Develop and maintain labor standards with internal partners
- Resolve bottlenecks and improve reliability across workflows
- Deliver projects on time, in scope, and in budget
- Report on progress and enforce safety standards in all projects
Requirements
- 2+ years in a poultry or protein processing plant in an Industrial Engineering role
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred)
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Proficiency with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools
- AutoCAD skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and re-design systems routinely
- Experience collaborating across teams and coordinating projects

- Office setting, processing floor, feed mill, hatchery, and wastewater treatment facility
