\r\n\tPOSITION SUMMARY:\r\n\r\n\tReporting to the Director of Retail Sales, the Territory Sales Representative needs to be an on-the-road, results-driven individual focused on sales and relationship building with farmers, growers and distributors within the Northern-area of West Central Saskatchewan. The ideal candidates will have deep understanding of agricultural products, proven sales skills and the ability to grow and manage key accounts.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive product sales in the assigned territory that meet/exceed sales target and increase market share\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPrimary point of contact related to purchasing, activity planning and providing solutions\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAble to build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers\r\n\t\r\n\t\tActively adopt and execute The Rack’s proven sales process, with a focus on needs-based selling\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBecome an expert in The Rack’s proprietary agricultural brands and other key products and services and able to effectively promote product value to customers\r\n\t\r\n\t\tRegularly monitor market trends and competitor activities to retain competitive edge\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWork with Sales Director and Retail Managers to build bottom-up business plans that drive accurate forecasting and customer success\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPromote and represent The Rack at agricultural tradeshows, events and other promotional activities\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMaintain accurate records and submit records/reports of all sales activities, opportunities, customer communication and order status using company CRM systems\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProvide ongoing post-sale support to customers to ensure expectations are being met and as part of the relationship-building process\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business, Marketing or related field is preferred\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMinimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in a position within the agricultural industry, with a diverse portfolio of agricultural experience, primarily in sales\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, exceptional communication skills\r\n\t\r\n\t\tStrong interpersonal, negotiation and sales skills are necessary to increase market share\r\n\t\r\n\t\tIn-depth understanding of agricultural products, crops and farming processes\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProficient in the use of computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite\r\n\t\r\n\t\tFamiliar with The Rack as a company along with products/services available\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMust hold a valid class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMust live in the Northern area of West Central Saskatchewan\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tInterested in joining our team?
