Sandy Pine is hiring an HR Engagement Specialist to join our team in Ainsworth, NE (North Central Nebraska). In this role you will be coordinating and supporting a variety of human resources initiatives designed to enhance the employee experience and strengthen workplace culture. Including but not limited to project coordination, timelines, and stakeholder partnerships to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.

What you will be doing:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute employee engagement events such as company parties, outings, team-building activities, meetings, wellness events, and recognition programs.
- Develop and maintain a high school intern program by partnering with local schools and agriculture teachers to promote student opportunities. Serve as the liaison between the company, teachers, and students, coordinating networking events and classroom visits.
- Create programs that connect employees with community organizations to foster volunteerism and strengthen community partnerships.
- Manage and maintain company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote a positive company image, highlight employee achievements, and support engagement initiatives.
- Administer the workers’ compensation program, including vendor negotiations, claim submissions, and liaison responsibilities between employees, managers, and providers. Collaborate with management and biosecurity teams on workplace safety initiatives to reduce claims.
- Partner with the CHRO to develop and maintain a manager training program focused on leadership development in communication, decision-making, strategic thinking, and team building.
- Process payroll to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance; update employee records and verify data within the payroll vendor system (Paycom experience preferred).
- Design and coordinate employee engagement activities such as pulse surveys, wellness programs, volunteer initiatives, and communication campaigns.
- Analyze survey data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, recommending strategies to enhance engagement and workplace culture.
- Exemplify and promote the company’s mission, values, and reputation by supporting a culture of integrity, collaboration, and genuine care for others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience in event planning, vendor management, and project coordination.
- Payroll processing experience, with familiarity in HRIS systems (Paycom preferred).
- Demonstrated problem-solving and collaborative thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and social media platforms.
- Experience using Canva or similar tools to create branded content for communication and engagement.
- Willingness to take on additional duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Approximately 25% travel is required. No overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license.
