We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our livestock and share farming enterprise near Hillston, NSW. Tocabil and Yilgah collectively span approximately 11,000 hectares of grazing land and 2,000 hectares of cropping land.
Reporting to the National Manager – Livestock, this role involves managing a Dorper sheep enterprise planned to grow to up to 5,000 breeding ewes, while overseeing our share farming operation and seasonal cattle trading and agistment. You will work closely with one other employee and coordinate seasonal labour and contractors as required. This role suits someone who is highly autonomous, practical, and committed to delivering safe, productive, and well-managed operations across both livestock and cropping activities.
- Manage all livestock and share farming operations, including guiding a part-time employee and coordinating contractors

Oversee the financial performance and operational productivity of the enterprise

Maintain accurate farm and livestock records to support reporting, budgeting, and decision-making

Deliver property development projects such as fencing, water infrastructure, and pasture improvements

Manage herd health, nutrition, mustering, and general animal husbandry

Oversee pasture management, weed control, and feed budgeting

Build and maintain productive relationships with share farmers and agistment lessees

Maintain plant, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure safety, compliance, and animal welfare

Ensure safe and competent work practices for all employees and contractors

Contribute to a positive, professional, and safety-focused working environment
- 10+ years’ experience in livestock and farm management

Previous supervisory experience (e.g. Manager, Overseer, Leading Hand)

Strong skills in livestock handling, machinery operation, and mechanical repairs (preferably with your own working dogs)

Clear communication skills and a practical, people-focused approach

Strong business, organisational, and time management abilities

Confidence using farm management systems and adopting new technology
