Job Details We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Middleware Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain middleware platforms that enable seamless integration and communication between software applications and systems. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical business systems while collaborating with cross functional teams and driving automation and optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise: Hands-on expertise with middleware systems such as Windows Server, Azure, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, Load Balancing, Next-Gen firewalls TCP/IP, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat.
Middleware Deployment & Administration: Spearhead the installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of middleware platforms across development, testing, and production environments.
Performance Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously monitor middleware environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement advanced performance tuning strategies to ensure systems run at peak efficiency.
Patch Management & Upgrades: Oversee the patching lifecycle by implementing a proactive patching strategy to ensure application security compliance deadlines.
Automation Standardize repetitive application processes/tasks using robust scripting languages such as (PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Bash, WLST) and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub).
Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex application issues related to performance, integration, server stability, and resource utilization/mgmt. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and provide robust solutions.
Security Administration Safeguard middleware platforms by implementing and managing security configurations, including TLS, LDAP, SSL certificates. Ensure full compliance with security policies and audit requirements (HIPPA, PCI/PHI).
Disaster Recovery & Capacity Planning: Design/Plan/Execute disaster recovery procedures to ensure system redundancy/ restore system and data in the event of an outage.
Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation

Networking and Infrastructure: Solid fundamental Understanding in networking and infrastructure concepts that will assist in application support /troubleshooting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software developers, network engineers, and security teams to deliver integrated, secure, and high-performing application ecosystems.
Work Conditions: Will require flexible working hours, including after-hours and On-call support. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Education bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Middleware Platforms: 8+ years of strong experience with web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache,
IBM HTTP) and application servers (e.g., SFTP, Active Directory, ARR, WebSphere, Tomcat).
- Operating Systems: 10+ years of Strong administration skills in Windows Server technologies, Azure, UNIX/Linux (RHEL, SLES).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Bash.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Additional Skillsets: Monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk) Database (SQL, Oracle ORDS, SSRS, Power Bi) , Troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Visual Studio Code, SoapUI)
