Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their busy South Canterbury practice. This role provides an excellent balance between production and companion animal work, with the farm side focused predominantly on dairy. The clinic is well-established, fully equipped, and supported by a skilled nursing and technician team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing veterinary care to both farm and small animal patients
- Delivering herd health, fertility, and preventive programs for dairy clients
- Performing surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments for companion animals
- Participating in the shared after-hours system with regional clinics
- Maintaining strong client relationships through communication and service
