Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of veterinary practices, excellent animal handling skills, and a commitment to animal welfare.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
Assist with dental cleanings and procedures, utilizing dental terminology effectively.
Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital.

Skills

Proficient in veterinary terminology and animal anatomy knowledge.
Strong understanding of animal husbandry practices.
Experience in dog handling and pet grooming is preferred.
Ability to perform tasks with aseptic technique in a clinical setting.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and protocols.
Bilingual Prefrred
