· Assists with staff hiring, supervision, scheduling, training and development
· Ensures all relevant policies and employment practices are followed in banquet and F&B departments
· Assists with purchasing produce, meats, poultry, fish and seafood, supplies, beverages, and equipment
· Assists in receiving and checking all F&B orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
· Helps supervise inventories
· Helps supervise the cleaning and maintenance of F&B facilities and equipment
· Assists in investigating and resolving any food quality or service complaints
· Regularly inspects all F&B outlets and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are met
· Assists in monitoring F&B budgets and controlling labor and food/beverage costs
· Stays informed of and communicate special requests or last-minute changes that will affect either the food production or service for an event
· Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends
