Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to become a key member of a multi-vet team in a refurbished first-opinion practice. This role is ideal if you’re looking for a position that can be shaped around your commitments outside of work, while still offering a busy, varied caseload and access to excellent facilities.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general consultations and preventative healthcare for small animal patients
- Managing medical and surgical cases appropriate to your skills and interests
- Working collaboratively with fellow vets, nurses and support staff across multiple sites
- Contributing to a shared weekend rota while maintaining a healthy amount of time off
Qualifications Needed:
- Registered MRCVS with good all-round general practice experience
- Comfortable handling a typical small animal caseload independently day to day
- Interest in developing a particular clinical area, supported by further training where appropriate
- Team-focused approach, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
