Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join a dedicated emergency-only hospital with a strong focus on high-quality, team-based medicine. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Triaging and stabilising emergency patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
- Performing diagnostics, medical management, and indicated emergency surgeries
- Partnering with technical staff to provide continuous monitoring and nursing care
- Documenting findings, treatment plans, and progress in clear and detailed medical records
- Building trusting relationships with pet owners through calm, confident, and honest communication
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent qualification
- Current or eligible veterinary license in the appropriate state
- Solid experience in emergency medicine or high-volume small animal practice
- Competence in common soft tissue emergency procedures and medical case management
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
