missions :
Position Overview
The Head of Supply Planning is responsible for leading the global planning function to ensure reliable product availability and visibility across all manufacturing campuses. This role oversees short-term arbitration and escalations from all the GMSQ campuses regarding supply interuptions and medium- to long-term supply planning. This Head of Supply Planning will also work with the campuses on capacity planning and support the LTCP exercise and support process improvements.
The role partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, GID , Procurement, Global Demand, S&OP, Inventory optimization manager, Inventory BPOs, Plan to produce BPO and Supply Planning BPO. .
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Global Supply Planning Strategy
Define and execute the global supply planning performance standards.
Ensure that there is a harmonized way of planning model across campuses for antigens and other WIP
2. Manage the Global Supply Planning Team
Develop onboarding for planners. Ensure training adherence.
Coach teams on planning excellence, root-cause problem solving, and digital tool adoption (APS, OneDeliver modules).
3. Deliver the S&OP Supply Review & Executive Cycle
Own the global Supply Review with clear signals to Demand, Finance, Industrialization, and Quality.
Prepare supply risks, scenarios, and recommendations for the Executive S&OP / Comex S&OP.
Support the campuses with their annual Industrial review process.
4. Ensure Reliable Supply & Service
Guarantee feasible supply plans that meet customer demand while respecting regulatory, quality, and capacity constraints.
Drive service performance improvements: declared shortages %, lead-time adherence, DPS, and root-cause elimination.
Maintain robust allocation processes in times of scarcity.
5. Oversee Capacity & Scenario Planning
Assist campuses to build multi-year constrained capacity plans for key antigens, filling/packaging, and critical supply paths and escalate risks and opportunities.
Partner with Manufacturing to validate capacity investments.
6. Support Launches, LCM, and Strategic Programs
Participate in cross-functional Launch Teams and LCM governance.
Provide supply impacts and risk visibility.
7. Drive Digital Transformation in Planning
Drive planning standardization and automation (including MRP / Scheduling)
8. Governance, Performance Management & Compliance
Lead KPI governance across global supply planning (on time release, planning adherence)
Establish escalation mechanisms, crisis-management routines, and structured SteerCos with campuses.

Advanced analytical skills; comfortable with scenario modelling and decision-making under uncertainty.
Knowledge of biologics planning, batch-yield variability, antigen strategies, and regulatory constraints.
Strategic mindset + operational excellence.
Effective stakeholder communication up to Comex level.
