We’re hiring an experienced
Industrial & Capital Project Manager for
Montana Egg to lead major building expansion and capital improvement initiatives at our egg processing facility in Great Falls, MT. You will oversee multi-million dollar building and production line expansions, and the integration of advanced automation and process control systems. Our ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with technical expertise in industrial engineering, automation and project management, ensuring seamless execution without disrupting ongoing operations. This role is based at the Great Falls location; it could be a hybrid position with 3 days a week on-site.

Your Focus Areas
- Lead Capital Projects: Manage multi-phase construction, automation upgrades, and equipment installation projects from concept to completion.
- Develop & Maintain Project Schedules: Create detailed timelines, milestones, and critical path plans to coordinate overlapping phases without disrupting operations.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with architects, contractors, engineers, mechanical/electrical contractors and equipment vendors to ensure integrated deliverables.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Prepare project budgets, track costs, and provide accurate financial reporting for large-scale capital projects.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to construction delays, equipment lead times, and commissioning challenges.
- Technical Integration: Oversee installation and commissioning of automation systems, PLC controlled systems, robotics, conveyors, and process flow optimization.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communication & Documentation: Provide regular updates to leadership and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualified Applicants Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation or Industrial Technology
- Strong capital project management experience, specifically in multi-phase construction, automation and equipment line installation projects
- Proven ability to manage complex timelines
- Strong technical understanding of industrial automation, controls, robotics, conveyors and process flow optimization
- Budget creation, tracking and management
- Ability to develop and enforce detailed project schedules, milestones, and critical path management
- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities, especially with construction delays, equipment lead-times, and commissioning challenges.
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
