Principal Accountabilities

Ensure safe work procedures are followed by all employees in the department
Ensure you are wearing proper personal protective equipment
Be sure you are following proper lifting procedures
Employees must work and act safely at all times and must accept equal responsibility for their personal safety and that of their co-workers

Required Qualifications

Must be able to operate a high reach truck/stand up forklift
Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack
Ensuring timely and efficient throughput of products
Ensure that all standard operating procedures are being met
Reporting any deficiencies in selecting processes and suggesting new alternatives/methods to improve these processes
Ensure that all food safety procedures and practices are being followed

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and speak English
Previous experience on a high reach truck
Prior work history in a fast-paced production environment
Prior experience leading diverse teams in the meat industry or warehouse environment
