EarthClaims Verification Inspector \r\n\r\nEarthClaims LLC provides private, third-party verification services to clients worldwide. The Verification Inspector is a trained and qualified professional whose primary job responsibilities include on-site audits of livestock and poultry production operations.\r\n\r\nDuring onsite visits, the Verification Inspector interacts with producers, conducts a review of records, and makes direct observations of the operation’s production systems.\r\n\r\nInspectors prepare and submit written reports of their observations to EarthClaims for use in evaluating the suitability of the operation for certification.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe inspector is a remote position due to the geographical distribution of EarthClaims’ clients. The role requires excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to present complex material to various audiences. Professional, accurate, and impartial inspection work is critical to the delivery of quality verification services.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tA Bachelor’s degree involving major study in Animal Sciences, Agriculture or other allied field.\r\n\tTwo years of professional level experience in farming or animal production systems.\r\n\tDemonstrated ability to work in a customer-oriented environment and deliver certification services with precision, impartiality, and professionalism.\r\n\tAttention to detail, organization, communication skills, and timely completion of assignments.\r\n\tProven record of excellent communication skills – verbal and written.\r\n\tExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.\r\n\tAbility to learn and understand complex program standards.\r\n\tProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and Word, in particular).\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDesired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience working with agricultural producers.\r\n\tExperience with beef, pigs, broiler chicken, or turkey production systems.\r\n\tExperience in farming/ranching and food distribution.\r\n\tExperience with verification systems.\r\n\tExperience working in a regulatory environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWork Requirements:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe Verification Inspector is a fully remote position that requires frequent overnight travel up to 75% of the time, with the ability to travel by car and plane. \r\n\tThe ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time is required. \r\n\tAt this time, we are seeking candidates in the MidAtlantic US. \r\n\tThis position offers opportunities for advancement as EarthClaims continues to grow and expand.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMaintaining an understanding of current program standards and any clarifications provided by the standards setter.\r\n\tScheduling and conducting travel and inspections.\r\n\tCompleting and submitting report forms in a timely manner.\r\n\tProviding further clarification to EarthClaims staff on areas in question.\r\n\tProviding timely feedback to EarthClaims on questions specific to standards and client concerns.\r\n\tInteracting with clients in a professional and confident manner.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nMinimum Requirements:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSuccessful completion of minimum training and credential requirements specific to the certification for which they are assigned.\r\n\tKnowledge of animal production systems.\r\n\tValid driver’s license.\r\n\r\n
