Your
missions :
Within the Biogenovac laboratory, which plays a key role in supporting current and future livestock vaccines—particularly upcoming RNA/DNA vaccines—the Genomic Analysis Scientist will:
- Lead advanced genomic analyses: Implement and validate NGS protocols (Oxford Nanopore, Illumina) for the detection and characterization of avian, swine, and ruminant pathogens.
- Optimize and innovate: Propose improvements, standardize, and develop new workflows to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
- Oversee scientific investigations: Guarantee technical quality of analyses, interpret data, and provide strategic recommendations to support R&D and vaccine development.
- Integrate and leverage data: Compile, visualize, and analyze results within Ceva systems, draft reports, and contribute to scientific publications.
- Collaborate internationally: Work closely with expert teams in the U.S. and Europe, participate in inter-laboratory projects, and assist in training technicians and researchers.
- Champion biosafety and quality: Comply with regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025) and contribute to the creation and updating of SOPs.
Your
profile :
- PhD in molecular biology and/or microbiology, or degree in veterinary science/biological sciences/pharmacy.
Proven experience (≥3 years) in molecular diagnostics and NGS. - Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (Geneious or equivalent) and molecular biology techniques (PCR, extraction, sequencing).
- Strong knowledge in virology, cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology techniques, viral titration, molecular epidemiology, and quality standards (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025).
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
Position based in Beaucouzé (49), permanent contract (annual gross salary + bonus + profit-sharing) – remote work options – time savings account.
