Every role at Corteva Agriscience includes an opportunity to grow what matters.Commercial Finance Leader will drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance. This role requires a deep understanding of financial metrics, business drivers, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to key stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:Lead the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Analyze financial trends, performance metrics, and key business drivers to provide accurate forecasts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment with business goals.Financial Analysis and ReportingPrepare and deliver monthly and annual management reports and dashboards.Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and actionable insights.Strategic SupportProvide financial modeling and decision support for business cases, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.Support the leadership team in scenario planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.Process ImprovementOptimize financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging tools and systems to improve efficiency.Implement best practices in data analysis and financial modeling.Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.Stakeholder EngagementAct as a financial business partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations.Collaborate with regional or global finance teams to align on financial goals and processes.To Grow What Matters, You Will Need10-15 years’ experience in finance. Prefered with at least 1-3 years experience in commercial financeExperience in Agriculture/Pharma, Technology or FMCG industries will be an advantage.Accounting/Finance Degree with a professional qualification in accounting / analysis or MBA Finance. Deep understanding of Shareholder Value creation and elements of ROICFluent Hungarian and English languageExpert in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have worked in an ERP environment – e.g. SAP, Oracle Must be capable and willing to work in an unstructured environment typically associated with start-ups / new companies.
