This requires following instructions and accurately measuring seed materials necessary to fulfil the processing manufacturing orders;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEnsure the production and equipment operation process happens safely effectively and with quality in alignment with general procedures of the work area;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tObtain and maintain AASCO and in some cases ISTA certifications Exhibits understand of internal procedures/protocols and support compliance with legal requirements applicable to assigned area activities;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrates knowledge of and adherence to Bayer s Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPerform basic computer/Microsoft Suite program skills;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPositive attitude, team player and willingness to collaborate across all departments and business units;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEnsure the production and equipment operation process happens safely effectively and with quality in alignment with general procedures of the work area;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExecutes basic activities in Bayer systems (SAP and electronic networks), commonly used in production processes;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tSupport areas across the plant in driving the adoption of continuous improvement practices and programs (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) conducive to an organized and clean work environment;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tUtilize OnePSS techniques to initiate process and standard work improvements;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tParticipate and prepare to lead Squad Tier meetings, as needed; \r\n\t\r\n\t\tPositive image of company position in regards to seeds processing?;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCommunication skills within sub department, including providing feedback?.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tWHO YOU ARE\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPrior experience in Manufacturing and/or Agricultural operations experience;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to gain required plant certifications to operate forklift;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work according the defined QMS documents with close supervision;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to support business needs;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tKnowledge of Basic Computer Skills (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word);\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to Communicate in English, both Verbal and Written;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to perform mathematical calculations;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMust be able to use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPosition involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting up to 60 pounds;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms, in addition employee frequently is required to walk.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tPreferred Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tTechnical, Associates or Bachelor s degree;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAt least one year Manufacturing and/or Agricultural operations experience;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMechanical abilities (able to operate and troubleshoot equipment);\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPrior agricultural experience;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tThree years of experience in a rotating-shift manufacturing environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t#LI-AMSUS\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tEmployees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $26.79 to $34.31. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
