Applied Vocational Training Pty Ltd (AVT) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5273) and we’ve been in operation for over 25 years. We’re a boutique RTO, led by a team of highly qualified industry professionals. We specialise in the delivery of Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing and Behaviour and Training qualifications, including DTWD funded courses. We take pride in our team-centric approach and our commitment to delivering the highest level of student services.

Planning, preparing and delivering classes for the ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification

Delivering engaging theoretical and practical training classes to our veterinary nursing students on-site at our Ascot campus
-
Coordinating and facilitating practical training and assessment sessions

Conducting assessment of written assignments and tests, and providing student academic support

Experience in teaching and training is a distinct advantage
Essential

Must be a qualified veterinary nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or a veterinarian

Must hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) or be working towards this qualification

Support lead trainers and students by assessing practical skills on-site

Perfect for qualified Assessors seeking flexible work within a supportive RTO environment

We’re seeking enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable professionals with:

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) or prepared to work towards or currently studying T&A
-
Industry qualified individuals with TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or prepared to work towards or currently studying T&A
-
Industry qualifications in Animal Studies, Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing, Wildlife, Equine or related fields

Hands-on experience working with a range of species (companion animals, farm animals, equine and wildlife)

A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently in fast-changing training environments

A passion for student learning and animal welfare

Flexibility to work across multiple locations if required
