Senior Sales Agronomist (Upper Midwest Region)

Territory: IA, MN, WI, KS, NE,ND, SD

Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Agronomist with a minimum of 10 years of field experience to spearhead market expansion across the core Upper Midwest territory, introducing a new breakthrough fertilizer bio-stimulant combination.

This is a premier role designed for a professional with a deep, established "book of business" and active networks among corn, soybean, potato wheat and sugar beet growers. You will act as a strategic technical partner, driving the adoption of high-value agricultural products and advanced seed treatments to enhance grower ROI across these five key states.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Regional Expansion: Leverage a decade of regional contacts to aggressively capture market share in the territory with corn, soybean, potato wheat and sugar beet growers.
Technical Product Positioning: Serve as the regional subject matter expert for advanced seed treatments, translating complex performance data into actionable, profit-focused recommendations for large-scale operations.
Grower Relationship Management: Manage a high-value portfolio of elite growers, providing technical support, in-season scouting, and long-term crop planning.
Regional Ag-Retail Dealer Relationship Management: Establish a regional ag-retail dealer network to serve the territory.Coordinate matching participating growers with appropriate retailers.
Field Execution: Lead the implementation of on-farm field trials and plot demonstrations to validate product efficacy in diverse Midwestern soil types and climates.
Channel Strategy: Partner with regional ag-retailers and cooperatives to ensure robust product placement and secondary demand generation.

Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years of proven success in agronomy sales within the Midwest; demonstrated credible relationships with large “lead-horse” growers is highly valued.
Established Network: A robust, active contact list of key corn, soybean, potato wheat and sugar beet growers producers in the assigned seven-state region.
Specialized Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of agricultural products, biologicals, and seed treatment chemistries.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related agricultural field.
Certification: Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) highly preferred.
Mobility: Must reside within the territory and be willing to travel extensively (50%+) to maintain high-touch grower relationships across the large geographic area.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000+ per year (commensurate with the depth of your existing regional network).
Commissions: Generous, uncapped commission structure designed for high-volume sales, offering unlimited upside potential.
Bonus Potential: Performance-based annual bonuses for territory growth and strategic product placement.

· Benefits:$1,000 per month taxable health care stipend; Paid Time Off 10 days per year
