Post Equipment is hiring a Parts Sales Representative to join our team based out of Rock Valley, IA (about 42 miles southeast of Sioux Falls, SD). In this role you will be supporting multiple farm machinery and agriculture equipment lines and work with a wide variety of replacement parts.

What you will be doing:
- Identify customer needs and recommend the correct farm machinery and agriculture equipment parts.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and answer technical questions related to ag equipment.
- Manage a steady volume of walk-in and phone requests while maintaining accuracy and a calm, helpful demeanor.
- Accurately process over-the-counter and phone sales transactions.
- Create quotes and place orders using vendor catalogs, price lists, and product literature.
- Manage and grow customer accounts through regular outreach and timely follow-ups to encourage repeat business.
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to better support their agricultural operations.
- Build and manage a prospect pipeline by researching potential partners, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and converting them into active accounts.
- Maintain accurate inventory by ordering parts, restocking shelves, and keeping products organized.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of agriculture equipment parts.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy and assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Address customer concerns promptly and communicate issues and solutions to management.
- Represent Post Equipment Company at trade shows, industry events, and trade association meetings as needed.
This job is for you if you have:
- Strong working knowledge of agriculture equipment parts; cattle feeder equipment/parts knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to quickly learn multiple farm machinery product lines and accurately identify parts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail, especially with quotes, orders, part numbers, and shipping documentation.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus (training available).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus (willing to train).
