For more information please visit www.andersonsinc.com.Position OverviewSales and relationship role responsible for establishing new accounts and maintaining and servicing existing accounts. This position gains and applies knowledge of turf industry products and services offered market trends gross profit and pricing to make recommendations to customers meet established sales/deal goals and gain new accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesLocate evaluate and recruit potential customers/clients.Serve customers address inquiries or forward to appropriate internal contact.Inform customers of new product/service introductions and pricesCreate monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipelineParticipate in marketing activities as neededManage administrative requirements of the position. Maintain data and resources that will serve to empower the incumbent as well as to inform the department through reporting or sharing of information.What is expected of you and others at this levelHas general awareness of business financials products/services and the marketComplexity is limited territory/account products/services or sales processHas very limited authority and opportunity to set and negotiate product/service termsRelies on manager to provide planning and manage resources.Minimum Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required Bachelorâs Degree preferredAgronomy degree and/or relevant experience strongly preferredTurf fertilizer and/or wholesale distribution experience preferredTurf/fertilizer sales experience strongly preferred1-3 yearsâ relevant experience requiredMust have a valid Driverâs LicenseMust be able to drive for the company according to the Companyâs Vehicle Safety and Driver Qualification Policy#LI-EMThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
