We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join the team as a Horticultural Salesperson within the Plant Centre, here at Rosara at Nicholsons. We offer a welcoming and customer-focused environment and are seeking a candidate who can bring this to the business alongside a good working plant knowledge. This role would split between indoor and outdoor as seasons dictate.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing a friendly and efficient service to all plant sale enquiries, ensuring turnaround parameters are met and commercial opportunities are established.
- Producing quotes, sales orders invoices and returns.
- Addressing or referring technical questions regarding plant health, specifications etc.
- Liaising with and supporting the Senior Sales Manager, as well as the deliveries team, to enable an accurate and efficient service.
- Assisting on the till and helping visitors to the Plant Centre.
- Keeping stock in top condition through watering, plant husbandry, displays etc.
Skills and experience required:
- Horticultural knowledge essential.
- Knowledge and experience using computer based systems.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in customer service is ideal with a customer centred approach being key.
The role would be 3-4 days per week (Mondays to Wednesday with a Saturday every other week), 9.00am to 4.00pm with seasonal flexibility.
The wage will be dependent on skills and experience.
Full training given.
