Shantz Farm Equipment is looking to add a Service Technician to our growing team. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nShantz Farm Equipment is an independent, full service agricultural equipment dealership located near Alma, ON. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a positive work environment. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nDuties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tInspect and test equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, repair and replace mechanical units, test and adjust units to proper specifications\r\n\tPerform scheduled maintenance service, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements\r\n\tInstall new and added-on equipment.\r\n\tComplete accurate and timely reports to record problems and work performed\r\n\tMaintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and techniques.\r\n\tOther mechanical work as required.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSkills and Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\t3 years+ years as a licensed service technician (Preferred)\r\n\tAg or construction technician: 1 year (Preferred)\r\n\tAg or Construction apprentice (Preferred)\r\n\tCurrently pursuing a license or hold a Journeyman license in 421A\r\n\tWill consider truck (310T) or auto (310S) technician\r\n\tGood time management skills\r\n\tGood communication skills\r\n\tStrong work ethic and positive attitude\r\n\tAbility to work well in a team environment and independently\r\n\tComputer literate and able to utilize and learn new technology\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe successful applicant should have a positive and outgoing attitude, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and solid computer skills. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIf you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career and are interested in this opportunity, please forward your cover letter and resume by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION or deliver by mail or in person to Shantz Farm Equipment - 7452 Wellington Rd. 7, Alma ON, N0B 1A0. \r\n
