In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant environment that supports production goals.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis position requires a balance of strategic planning, vendor management, and hands-on maintenance across disciplines including plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and machine servicing. The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Production, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDrive Operational Excellence: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with a proactive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.\r\n\tSanitation Program Support: Partner with production to develop and maintain Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).\r\n\tFacility Oversight: Ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of production areas, offices, and grounds.\r\n\tSecurity Coordination: Work with leadership and vendors to ensure security and protection systems are in place (fire, burglar, weather-related).\r\n\tProduction Alignment: Schedule and coordinate repairs/maintenance to minimize disruptions to production.\r\n\tWork Order Management: Prioritize, assign, and complete maintenance requests, including modifications, preventive, and corrective tasks.\r\n\tHands-On Support: Provide direct troubleshooting and repair support on the production floor.\r\n\tSafety Leadership: Conduct inspections, facilitate training, and enforce safety protocols.\r\n\tVendor & Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts, oversee contractors, and ensure vendor compliance with standards.\r\n\tTeam Leadership: Supervise and develop maintenance team members.\r\n\tProcurement Oversight: Manage supplies, equipment, and sanitation chemical procurement, ensuring proper handling and use.\r\n\tBudget Collaboration: Assist with planning and managing budgets for maintenance and improvements.\r\n\tAdditional Duties: Support other facility-related initiatives as needed.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED required; technical or four-year degree preferred.\r\n\tMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in food & beverage manufacturing.\r\n\t1–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.\r\n\tKnowledge of production packaging equipment and maintenance standards.\r\n\tStrong understanding of OSHA workplace safety requirements.\r\n\tOSHA 10/30 certification preferred.\r\n\tExperience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.\r\n\tStrong communication skills in English (verbal and written).\r\n\tLeadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.\r\n\tCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities; proactive approach to troubleshooting.\r\n\tReliable attendance and ability to work in fast-paced, hands-on environments.\r\n\tPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.\r\n\tComfortable working in varying conditions (hot, cold, or noisy environments).\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHealth benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and tax-advantaged spending accounts.\r\n\tCompany-paid Life Insurance and Disability Income Benefits.\r\n\t?401(k) plan with company matching contributions.\r\n\r\n
