It offers an opportunity to join a collaborative, research-driven team dedicated to improving productivity, profitability, and sustainability in modern agriculture.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\r\n\r\nThe Regional Agronomy Lead serves as a trusted technical expert and strategic partner to the U.S. sales team and its customers. This position balances agronomic expertise with business acumen—providing hands-on technical support, training, and mentorship while driving regional sales growth and product adoption.\r\n\r\nThe role requires in-depth knowledge of soil and plant nutrition, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate scientific findings into actionable solutions for growers and agricultural retail partners.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n- Provide strategic agronomic and technical support to promote value-added seed, soil, and in-crop nutrition solutions across the U.S. Ag-retail network.\r\n- Champion and provide field support for innovative AgTech tools, such as the NutriScan handheld soil and leaf tissue scanner.\r\n- Partner with sales and marketing to shape product launch strategies and validate new technologies with agronomic data.\r\n- Support Regional Account Managers and key accounts by developing and executing growth-focused business plans.\r\n- Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and Ag retail customers to strengthen technical knowledge and market positioning.\r\n- Deliver in-season field support and recommendations to optimize product performance and grower ROI.\r\n- Present at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to advance brand visibility and credibility.\r\n- Represent the company as a thought leader in agronomy within industry associations and research groups.\r\n- Identify new technologies, markets, and partnership opportunities to expand regional growth and competitiveness.\r\n- Serve as a positive ambassador of the company’s mission, brand, and agronomic excellence.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\n\r\n- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field required; M.Sc. preferred.\r\n- 5+ years of progressive experience in agronomy and/or agronomy sales.\r\n- Strong technical expertise in crop production, soil and plant nutrition, and precision agronomy practices.\r\n- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.\r\n- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for engaging with Ag retail and grower networks.\r\n- Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking ability.\r\n- Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.\r\n- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\r\n- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\r\n\r\n- Competitive base salary, commensurate with education and experience.\r\n- Annual bonus opportunity (up to 15%).\r\n- Comprehensive company-sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.\r\n- 401(k) with employer match up to 5%.\r\n- Company vehicle and cell phone provided.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHOW TO APPLY\r\n\r\nQualified individuals with a passion for agronomic innovation and customer success are encouraged to apply through Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT.
