They work across all areas of our Seed Production, Processing, Packaging, and Inventory activities. They work closely with and support multiple functions within the site and are a key element in delivering the pipeline on time and in full. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tBe self-motivated, perform with minimal to no supervision. \r\n\tBe a positive influence on workflows and site initiatives for Crew Members and Seasonal Employees towards KPIs (Key Performance Metrics). \r\n\tProvide daily direction to Crew Members and Seasonal Employees. \r\n\tCommunicate work area progress to team members, Seed Technicians, and site leadership. \r\n\tBe competent in safety and quality programs. \r\n\tTrain new employees (bilingual) and peers in safety, quality, site operations, and equipment;\r\n\tCompletes all required audits or inspections timely and report any issues as needed;\r\n\tPerform high-quality work with minimal to no errors or re-work and safety.\r\n\tHas a continuous improvement mindset, and can recognize opportunities for improvement, problem solve current work related area issues, and brainstorm/implement solutions. \r\n\tOperate and train team members on work area equipment, which may include but is not limited to tractors, harvesters, shellers, sprayers, counters, flex fillers, sewing machines, and irrigation equipment as applicable. \r\n\tProficient in current technologies; collect date, enter data, and train other team members. \r\n\tUnderstands work area data and can identify and address data issues/discrepancies. \r\n\tResponsible for pedigree system access and data input. \r\n\tLead or assist in other projects and duties as required or assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma/GED equivalent + 2 years of related experience OR 4+ years of related experience;\r\n\tValid Iowa Driver’s License and meet company driver criteria;\r\n\tAble to understand & communicate effectively, both verbally & written;\r\n\tAble to learn applicable technology, to include (but not limited to) handheld devices and desktop computers;\r\n\tAble to function both individually and as a member of a team;\r\n\tAvailability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with the ability to meet overtime demands including occasional shift work, weekends, and holidays;\r\n\tWilling and able to work in a variety of areas including the seed processing facility, fields, an/or warehouse environment. Frequent walking and standing is required on flat and uneven surfaces. This can include frequent work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions; \r\n\tAble to climb ladders and occasionally perform elevated work. \r\n\tMust be able to lift, push, and pull 40-50 lbs regularly;\r\n\tDemonstrated supervisory experience;\r\n\tBilingual;\r\n\tCDL or ability to obtain a CDL license. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis role will expire on January 20th, 2026. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary $24.82 per hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
