Job Description and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Achieve or exceed agreed BU Financial, Strategic, Operational, and Human Resources Priorities with influential people leadership and talent management aligned with our company’s Animal Health Strategic Framework.
- Responsibility for developing business at country level by working closely with the key strategic customers, country operations team and the Country Manager.
- Implementing pricing and promotional strategies and inputting into central discussions.
- Build a High Performing Team focusing on Team Development & Talent Identification.
- Build strong collaborative country level account plans and translate into clear action plans, agreed at country and central level.
- Working effectively with the wider cross functional team internally and externally, including marketing, technical, finance and territory management teams, to ensure delivery on customer expectations.
- Establish and maintain regular contacts with key customers, distributors, key opinion leaders, and all other relevant stakeholders across the market, promoting effective communications and inspiring customer loyalty.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify areas of growth and increase market share.
- Participate in forecast management and monitoring in-market sales and marketing plan.
- Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects to ensure that they are on schedule and within budget.
- Developing existing products and implementing new ones with applicable services that meet customer needs and market conditions.
- Following implementation of technical and marketing plan to meet our sales objective.
- Coordinating with regional/ internal departments and developing communication channels to ensure that products/services meet customer needs.
- Establishing Saudi in-market goals and objectives with measuring performance to accomplish our company’s goals.
- Following and upskill technical knowledge and communication skills for distributors teams.
- Actively identifying mutual opportunities for business development and growth and pro-actively highlighting the contract leads to such opportunities or challenges.
- Identifying the most appropriate tools, methodologies, and service offerings to support the development of customer relationships and lead to sales growth in line with the country manager country plans.
- Identifies and evaluate commercial opportunities through networking of the different stakeholders.
- Develop and implement the sales strategic plan in alignment with the strategic and tactical plan of the market and this is based on the analysis of the customer needs.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor or University degree any relevant experience (Veterinary, science, medicine, etc.)
- At least 8 years in field sales experience preferably in the Animal Health industry or related industry
- Previous experience in leading and managing a large, multi-layered team will be an important asset.
- A deep understanding of the animal health industry, market trends, and business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and experience managing a team.
- A proven track record of inspirational and transformational Leadership building and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to identify and develop people within the team and broader organization.
- The ability to influence and manage in a matrix organization.
- Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and track record in adherence to Company compliance policies and procedures.
- Ability to commit to approximately 30% - 40% travel within the market.
- Fluent in Arabic & English.
