Lesaffre Egypt for yeast industries is an Egyptian joint stock company for producing baking yeasts and yeasts extract. We are 100% owned by the holding company and part of Middle East & Africa baking region.
Lesaffre Egypt was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.
Our main operational purpose is to establish, manufacture, and package yeasts, yeast derivatives, and yeasts extracts. These many forms and types are then used within food products, animal feed, bread-making and bread improvers, flavorings, colors, and enzymes.
In October 2014, Lesaffre Egypt for yeasts industry (S.A.E) began effectively managing the acquired company.
Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, We employ more than 200 individual
Job Description
- Receive monthly sales forecast for both local and export markets with 18 months of demand horizon.
- Generate monthly materials requirements plan “MRP” based on system output and make necessary modifications as per other required parameters as needed.
- Create purchase requisition as per defined guidelines shared by procurement team regarding pricing, suppliers’ allocation and delivery terms.
- Issue detailed delivery plan for materials in line with storage capability and production needs and share it with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Call off materials with suppliers to assure timely delivery as per production needs.
- Weekly update for MRP based on demand changes for agility and react to market needs.
- Secure the coverage defined for each material based on set strategy and raise alerts at right time in case of risks.
- Collaborate with procurement team on materials sourcing strategy of each, re-work lead times and minimum order quantities based on business needs and market requirements.
- Follow up with logistics team to assure the smoothness of customs clearance and shipping process for imported materials delivery.
- Synchronize the materials receipts with warehouses and follow with suppliers on any discrepancy in quantities to be investigated.
- Get incoming quality team feedback regarding materials and manage replacement if needed with suppliers at minimum disturbance possible.
- Share materials needs at quarter and annual basis with finance and procurement for budget planning updates.
- Issue monthly materials stock status showing materials status and coverage based on forecast update.
- Lead action execution regarding stock reduction opportunities, liquidations, returns to suppliers or write off as per business guidelines.
- Raise early flag for near expiry material to take corrective action by either requesting shelf-life extension from suppliers or early start for production.
- Measure the supplier delivery performance and share it with the procurement team for any performance improvement needs.
- Manage the external manufacturing End to end cycle including demand planning, run material requirements and place order with suppliers to secure availability on time.
- Align external manufacturers with production requirements, secure materials delivery as per defined time plan and follow on quality release.
- Manage product availability as per defined stock strategy.
- Facilitate external manufacturer invoices settlement and payment.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
Strong knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
Understanding of international trade regulations, customs clearance, and logistics.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for supplier and stakeholder management.
Leadership and organizational skills to manage cross-functional collaboration.
