HF Farms is hiring a Farm Operator in Ogden, IA. In this role you will assist with day-to-day farming operations. This position includes a wide variety of hands-on work such as operating farm equipment, hauling grain, and general farm duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, takes initiative, and is willing to learn while working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Operate farm equipment for all phases of corn and soybean production, including tillage, planting, spraying, sidedressing, and harvesting.
- Set up, adjust, and operate planters, sprayers, and other application equipment to ensure accurate and efficient field operations.
- Assist with harvest by operating combines, grain carts, trucks, and related equipment.
- Haul grain from fields to on-farm or commercial storage locations.
- Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs on farm and heavy equipment to minimize downtime.
- Assist with additional farm duties as needed to support overall operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating and maintaining farm or heavy equipment (1–2 years preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Private/Commercial Applicators License ( or willing to obtain within 90 days)
- CDL Class A (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- HF is willing to cover training and licensure costs for right candidate
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical outdoor labor in all weather conditions
Work Schedule
- Must be available to work nights and/or weekends during peak seasons such as but not limited to planting and harvest.
