Overview
The AssociateSales Director Sales Director is responsible for meeting the budgeted sales and gross margin for his region, leading area sales managers and their team. They are responsible for providing leadership, managerial support, coaching and mentoring, and strategic assistance to the Area Sales Managers in their team. They are also responsible for assisting the Area sales managers with management of sales projects, the allocation of resources and clearing of hurdles that may hinder the effectiveness of the sales managers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the success of sales for all products in the region.
- Responsible for the strategic planning and forecasting of the region.
- Communicating with the leadership team on the status of projects, sales, and strategic direction.
- Manage the collective expenses across the entire region.
- oversight strategic accounts, that may span multiple territories.
- Provide leadership, managerial support, coaching and mentoring, and strategic assistance to the country/Area Sales Managers.
- Responsible for monitoring competitive activity and market trends within their region and reporting those trends on a periodic basis.
- Support the Area Sales Managers with management of sales projects, the allocation of resources and clearing of hurdles that may hinder the effectiveness of the sales managers.
- Allocating resources for the Area Sales Managers.
- Meet the collective budgeted sales and gross margin.
- Set the annual sales budget & commercial strategy.
Qualifications
- Must be able to utilize selling techniques as described through the Kemin sales process and can assist the Country/Area Sales Managers in following Multi-level Customer Contacts within their respective Account Portfolio’s as well as introduce New Products.
- Time management, prioritization of duties, organization of data, analyzing customer problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.
- Experience as a team player, leader and motivator; and the ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management and subordinates
- A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency
Willig to move in Italy. 50% of the time in the office in Italy (cost to stay in Italy will be not cover by the company) +. 50% traveling to customers and with sales team.
