Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a stable and well-established first-opinion practice delivering high-quality care across a varied caseload. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys continuity of care, case progression, and building long-term client relationships within a supportive team environment.
The position involves working across two nearby sites, offering exposure to a broad mix of medical and surgical cases. Strong collaboration between colleagues ensures shared knowledge, consistent standards, and a positive clinical atmosphere, allowing veterinarians to practise confidently and efficiently.
This role provides flexibility in working patterns, with options for full-time or reduced hours, no out-of-hours commitment, and a predictable weekend rota, supporting sustainable practice and long-term career satisfaction.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised for practice in Wales
- Registration or eligibility with the relevant veterinary authority
- Previous experience in small animal first-opinion practice
- Confidence managing routine consultations and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
