\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Opportunity:\r\n\r\nThe incumbent will play a key part in connecting Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution to ensure seamless product flow and accurate inventory information. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the position is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate inventory information of physical inventory details, volumes, and movements. The role works closely with Processed Meats (ham and bacon), Fresh Pork, and Quality Assurance teams to support cross-functional coordination. It also involves managing and controlling inventory through SAP, managing and controlling inventory, running reports, analyzing data, and investigating discrepancies to maintain system integrity and operational efficiency.\r\n\r\n\r\nAny MLF team member interested in being considered for this role are encouraged to apply online by February 24. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tManage and control all pork inventory, all fresh and frozen pork stored at Lagimodiere DC.\r\n\tManage and control all Prepared Meats inventory including all processed hams, fresh / frozen sausage and all bacon in the warehouse.\r\n\tManage rogue HU's, investigate and adjust as needed.\r\n\tManage cycle counts for both the freezer and the cooler, all discrepancies are to be investigated fully. Ensure all required adjustments are justified and approved by manager prior to making the adjustment.\r\n\tEnsure proper product rotation at all times. Only exception is customer min date requirement.\r\n\tInvestigate internal inventory issues (EWM).\r\n\tReceiving of all inbound STOs, ensure physical receiving matches paperwork and what is in the system.\r\n\tWorking closely with QA to place products on Cooler Hold in EWM and remove from EWM Cooler Hold once QA has given the approval.\r\n\tWork directly with QA on traceably exercises, provide reports as required.\r\n\tScrapping of product in SAP…. product that is damaged or temperature abuse.\r\n\tScrapping of production inventory at the request of Finance.\r\n\tManage all returned products, ensure physical receiving matches paperwork.\r\n\tManage all re-sales in transit requests from Sales or Customer Service.\r\n\tManage all cross-dock volumes, segregate, track and monitor KGS by locations to ensure charge back to correct accounts.\r\n\tWork directly with the EWM management team to correct all P1 Issues, help find root cause and preventative measures.\r\n\tComplete new material set up in EWM and execute ECR’s.\r\n\tComplete monthly metrics, send to management for review and submit before deadline.\r\n\tWork closely with receiving facilities to manage any discrepancies they have at time of receiving.
