Building Manager
Oversee the daily operations of maintenance, housekeeping, and mailroom for two Administrative Office buildings and File Warehouse. Manage Company File Retention Policy working with Legal to process changes. Facilitate meetings in the building including bringing in snacks, drinks, and lunches. Maintain budgets and expenses for multiple facilities which include two Administrative Offices, Low Income Apartment Community and File Warehouse Ordering supplies, securing invoices and ensuring payment is sent to vendor

Responsibilities will include:

- Manage Company File Retention Policy working with Legal to process changes
- Facilitate meetings in the building including bringing in snacks, drinks, and lunches
- Maintain budgets and expenses for multiple facilitieswhich includetwoAdministrative Offices, Low Income ApartmentCommunityand File Warehouse
- Ordering supplies, securing invoices and ensuring payment is sent to vendor
- Assist in month/year end accounting procedures for associatedfacilities
- Meet with vendors and contractors for futureand ongoingprojects
- Include obtaining bids, secure AFE’sfor Capital Projects,work with Safety Department to ensure vendor meets qualifications
- Resolvingcomplaints, problems, and requests from building occupants
- Assisting with emergency response and evacuations as well as facilitating annual drills
- Manage Community/Employee Engagement committees and activities
- Facilitatingemployee lunches, gifts,appreciationand engagementevents
- Organize, set up and clean up Pilgrim’s booths for Community Events
- Community Liaison – serving on Pittsburg, Texas Main Street Board and Pittsburg-Camp County Chamber of Commerce Board
- Human Resourcesduties
- Completing I-9 forms for Corporate employees
- New hire orientation presentations on benefits and policies
- Distribute communication on policy and pay changes
- Manageup to tenemployees reporting for office and rental support including management and lead positions, including Apartment Manager and staff
- Key payroll and ensure employees are paid timely
- Mailroom duties if needed in the absence of mailroom clerk.
- On call at all times to ensure emergencies are handled at Office buildings and Apartment Complex.
Qualifications
- Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Detail Orientated
- Previous Management and Human Resources Experience a plus
- Understanding Safety and Building Codes and Regulations
- Strong Written and Oral Skills
- Previous accounting experiencerequired
- Understanding and working knowledge ofAffordable Housing issues and programs is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Microsoft Excel) and general computer skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to understand contracts and documents typical to the management of real estate
