Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-equipped coastal practice offering a balanced four-day working week. This permanent position provides a rewarding mix of consulting and surgery within a collaborative four-vet team, all without after-hours commitments.
The caseload is varied and engaging, with excellent facilities to support both routine and more advanced procedures. The clinic is particularly well suited to veterinarians who enjoy surgery, including soft tissue work and developing orthopaedic skills, while maintaining a strong focus on client communication and continuity of care.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing medical consultations and case workups
- Performing soft tissue surgeries with confidence
- Assisting with orthopaedic procedures where appropriate
- Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Contributing to a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment
Qualifications Needed:
- BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Minimum of two years’ small animal clinical experience preferred
- Confidence in routine soft tissue surgery
- Interest or exposure to orthopaedics advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
